A pan-pot is a simple, workaday knob, given to side-to-side flip-flopping and not much else. Pan-Pot, on the other hand, are a brilliantly multidimensional Berlin duo currently twisting house and techno fans into rapturous fits.
In just a few short years, Pan-Pot —the duo comprised of Tassilo Ippenberger and Thomas Benedix—have become a central presence in electronic dance music’s most advanced sectors. Their rise parallels that of their home label mobilee, coming at a time when established categories are breaking down and accepted notions of “minimal” (please) are giving way to an unprecedented degree of dynamism on demanding dancefloors. Another mobilee signee, Marco Resmann, was a founding member of the group, but has since left to concentrate on his solo work.

Monographic is proud to give a warm welcome to our partner Musica Excentrica as part of the wider project Netaudio.ru (ME, Electrosoundand Share My Wings).
Run by the Moscow based couple made by Ilias Mikanaev and Nikita Golyshev, Musica Excentrica netlabel is focused on releasing
“avantgarde post-music in strictly non-entertainment genres (acoustic as well as electronic)”. The artist line-up is long, but i think is
important to mention some recognised sound artists like Alva Noto, Kevin Drumm, Kim Cascone, Kenneth Kirschner, Kevin M. Krebs, Polina Voronova, etc…
Along with the management of the netlabel and artists, ME is organising Add Noise Sessions to produce modern cutting-edge audio
and visual events. Recently the platform has also started an open project of webmusic magazine called www.netlabels.ru in order to give tools for netaudio artist promotion, and where has moved the must- listen Audiomania podcast.

For todays »frei² – the magazine for free music at Freies Radio Kassel« we broadcasted a best-of show of the second »frei House Disco Night« that took place in the night from March, 7th to 8th. Unstable, gradually evolving organic, volcanic feedback. Hot geyser sprays erupt and fizzle before giving way to a deep earth-moving rumble with an intermittent crackling, as of a fire.
“Reverse Eruption” is a longform generative piece that came about as the result of my experimenting with audio software. I set the starting parameters for a series of delays, oscillators, and other effects, let the system run until it became imperceptibly quiet, and this wrote itself. It’s 70 minutes long, with some very faint sound left in at the end that may seem silent, in hopes you might feel it in the air.
Treetrunk likes this piece by Scrap Heap– it fits right in with the label. Enjoy!

Primary Curious was intended as a short-lived cover project. Formed in summer of 1999 in Bielefeld, Olli (vocals), Suzie (drums) and Moci (bass) interpretate songs of their icons The Cure, OMD and The Chameleons. After all the label Genetic Music was concerned in a collaboration. In winter 03/04 the debut album “The Intimate Stranger” was recorded and published in July of 2004.
3 and a half years later the band own some live experiences and the first edition of the debut now is solded out. And so that this timeless piece of music-history not get lost we will release this debut digitally in our normal way - also as a free download - to the disposed fan. But not only this - on the new edition with “Rovers” you will get a bonus song only distributed with the first demo recordings of Curious.

What a funny expression of being a single human in a chaotic world, feels like Knytt-Journeys & runs, all between sheep and cattles, flying progressive Tarzan joining Lucy, Cumbia moving.
The universe is a joke and we are the laughing protagonists in a biological window, daisyflowers, believing in turntables and table tennis, lazy honey sucking insects sitting on hot barbecued cows. Have fun.
With inspirations from introspective sea events and lysergic mountain highs in Uruguay, Sound Designer Andres Nudelman from
harbour city Montevideo brings dada-hop and Cumbia Villera Glitch in our houses. He comes out of the ‘river of colorful birds’, drinking mate, hanging around at south american beaches and playing around with naïf intergalactic lovebeats, sometimes exchanging tracks for astronaut teddy bears with an artist friend. After releases on uruguayan netlabels ‘Monte Audio’ and ‘Ouzo’ this is his first international release. Tracks 3 and 4 were created together with Gonzalo Francia (”Willow”).

Nueva referencia de teorema a cargo de Gunpowder Deluxe, artista polifacetico y ya conocido por sus anteriores trabajos en grupos como Absorbed, Dismal y sus apariciones en festivales como Festimad, Cultura Quente.
Despues de su anterior trabajo en teorema del que nos ha dejado un buen sabor de boca y un sustancial numero de descargas que reafirman la seriedad y buen hacer de su trabajo.
Tres cortes marcados por un concepto bastante transcendental y substancial de lo melodico con sus inconfundibles pinceladas acidas que lo caracterizan y con claros guiños orientados a una estética mas minimalista y espacial.
Paralelo a este trabajo decir que estamos trabajando en nuestra nueva división de teorema del que Gunpowder será la punta de lanza y que pronto recibireis noticias.
