con_cetta is the first Italian artist on Zymogen, and we’re extremely glad to have such a great musician representing the label’s home country. Giuseppe, con_cetta’s real name, is from Sicily but now lives in Milan, which is the leading commercial and financial center of Northwestern Italy.
Sclerosis is his debut under this moniker and could be seen as Giuseppe’s attempt at escaping the chaos of the industrial metropolis, generally seen as lacking the color and poetry of everyday life. This release is full of passion while the contrast between the two extremes is clearly audible and molded into the sound. [more..]

enjoy the new sicilian electronic sound generation [dg]
studio-projects-compilation 2003-2007)
We are very pleased to present you the ultimate collection of extravagant sound sourcery, emerged directly from the very deepest heart of our facility.
Compiled by the hands of Doc. AtmosfearCrush comes a journey of abstract urban sound experiences, extracted with lust, oil, colour and blood. A melange of the different split personalities incorporated in the genetic manipulated organism known as [Esc.]Laboratory / Art Factory Worms. The brilliant synergy of unreleased songs and the beautiful ‘errors’ of already released projects`albums are the perfect mix to represent the ‘what-happens-there?’ mythology of modern urban ghost`s culture, mirrored by the skull-crew of
Doc. AtmosfearCrush, Tomahawk and Machete
Out of the cellar of an old, concrete-steel builded factory flows the streams of an unique kind of sound, influenced by its environment and social structures. Dark and lurking horror-chill-out meets the fascination of cyber-road-movie-freakiness.
Join the ride through industrial soundscapes, driven by the groove of sci-fi alien vandalism and get pregnant by the sperms of their provoking sound-design.
Let`s listen to this psycho-acoustic UTOPIA
Notes
This album is hosted at This Plague of Dreaming by special arrangement with [Esc.] Laboratory. For more information about the projects featured on this compilation, visit the [Esc.] Laboratory website.

Rope Swing Cities is giddy like a school girl today. Seriously. If you’re still asking yourself why that is, than you obviously haven’t looked above this text and observed that we are celebrating the arrival of spring with a brand new Ten and Tracer release and CD. It probably all makes sense now.
The music of Ten and Tracer is evocative of nature and the exploration of man’s place inside the constructs around us. With this theme in mind RSC presents Mishia-F-Lehkla, wherein Ten and Tracer continues the new direction in sound that he has been exploring beginning with the sister EP on Archipel. With another beautiful EP out last year on Zymogen, Jonathan Canupp appears to be falling into a new cycle of creation, releasing what we feel is his most interesting and beautiful work to date.
Through percussion patterns that seem to continually change and morph without end, Ten and Tracer manages to build a chaotic precision not found often in any genre of music. The tones and sounds that make up Mishia-F-Lehkla call equally to the rising warmth of a summer morning as to the chilly hush of a winter night. Flowing effortlessly through the songs, these haunting sounds provide an emotionally grounding counterpoint to the subtly aggressive qualities of the underlying drums. Thoughtful and temperate, yet mildly antagonistic, Mishia-F-Lehkla constantly wrestles for balance while taking the listener along on the journey.
The current crop of music from Ten and Tracer shows an artist coming into his own, finding the pathway between his myriad influences and creating his own unique and original take on the world. In addition to the MP3 release, we are offering incredibly, way rad limited edition hand made CD-R copies of Mishia-F-Lehkla in our store. Once you see them we are pretty sure you will be interested in having one, because they are super cool, dude. If you are listening to the EP and thinking to yourself, “I wonder if Ten and Tracer ever managed to get his domain name back from THE MAN,” the answer is that he did, and you can go look at his sweet new site here. Regardless of all that, please enjoy this beautiful release from one of our favorite artists.

Hey.
I’m Pete, I make bleepshow (http://bleepshow.com/). I’m here to tell
you the latest shows are online for you to download, completely free
of charge. If you don’t want to download, and just like to listen,
there’s a player thingy on the bleepshow.com website so you can listen
at college/school/work/etc without the need for iTunes or fancy
downloaders.
Bleepshow is made 5 times a week, and runs to about an hour per show.
The music is electronic, varying from IDM to experimental, house to
techno, glitch to Euro. All the music is good, in my opinion.
Listeners seem to think so, too, which is great :) All the music is
safe to listen to and guilt-free - the vast majority is netlabel
material, with the occasional listener-submitted or approved promo
track thrown in for good measure.
If you are a netlabel artist and think your stuff would fit well in
the show, get in touch - likewise if you represent a netlabel and want
to preview some upcoming/unreleased stuff, drop me a line. The address
for comments, feedback, submissions and anything else you care to send
me is bleepshow@…. Thanks for reading, listening, commenting
and supporting the netlabel scene - have a great weekend!

Debut for London based new talent Fushara. Listening to the pack of tracks he sent us over the last months, we have the strong feeling that this young man should not stay unheard for any longer.
With his distinct sense of how to balance rattling breaks on the one hand and meditative loopiness on the other, Fushara disabuses from the formula funky drums equals exhaustive top-heaviness.
While A Side ‘Rising’ strongly pushes forward with its steady snare hits and sub-pads, B Side tracks ‘Irrational Act’ and ‘Symbol of State’ form the laid back counterpart of the release satisfying both, DJs as well as the home listening audience.
Tracklist:
A Fushara - Rising
B1 Fushara - Irrational Act
B2 Fushara - Symbol Of State
Following selection for the Qwartz Label Award, our foremost intention was to create something special, in order to celebrate an acknowledgment of the utmost importance.
This is how Symbiosis (a compilation of exclusive unreleased Zymogen tracks) was conceived.
It is a reunion of the artistic voices that have collaborated with us in the past, those that are collaborating with us now, and an invitation to those that might collaborate with us in future.
It is yet another example of our dedication to providing creative excellence for more than a year and a half to date, and it is also an occasion for us to show that which constitutes our aesthetic values, as well as that which represents the probable direction of our evolution.
It is what a project such as Zymogen cannot, and could not, ever ignore or take for granted.
Symbiosis is all this: the past, present, and future…but most importantly, it is the Zymogen sound.
It is music that changes in the course of the twelve tracks constituting the album, in the same way that the twelve Zymogen releases, to date, are different and evolve with respect to each other.
Despite this, there is always a fine red thread that binds and holds closely together the diverse and sometimes distant styles, all of which exude a distinct artistic personality.
The concept is always the same, but the language changes depending on whom it is expressed to.
Symbiosis represents all that Zymogen is, and all that Zymogen could be or might become.
Filippo Aldovini - Zymogen Coordinator
