Marko Fürstenberg was born in former East Germany in 1976 and became excited about EBM and Wave which were his first stages towards electronic music in the middle of the 80s.Later the upheaval of the DDR caused by the fall of the wall didn’t just entail a change of his social situation but also a change in music for him. From then on he got addicted to Acid House and the early beginnings of Detroit Techno initiated by well known protagonists like Blake Baxter, Kevin Saunderson and of course Juan Atkins.In 1993 Marko made his first steps in music production with several tracker programs on his PC, but due to some technical problems he had to freeze his recently gained will to make his own music.So he started again (like he already did some time before) to spin the tables, now mainly on illegal techno parties. He got in touch with minimal music and was heavily influenced by labels like ‘Basic Channel’ and ‘Chain Reaction’.After this period of Dj-activity he managed to upgrade his studio and so was able to restart making music. Now he was able to digest all influences he has collected during his work as a Dj.
Here in one shoot, all release I prefer from this one step ahead deep mind.

This week on the RA pod: An exclusive mix from dance music legend Kevin Saunderson.
Along with Juan Atkins and Derrick May, Kevin Saunderson is a card-carrying member of the Belleville Three, the trio credited with creating the Detroit techno sound. Most pop music audiences, however, will most remember him as one-half of the pop-house group Inner City from back in the eighties. Saunderson and Chicago vocalist Paris Grey had numerous hits, most notably ‘Big Fun’ and ‘Good Life’, which arguably did more than any other dance music tracks to push the genre music into the mainstream.

Metamorphosis is founded midst 2006. Metamorphosis are a bunch of guys who have well earned their marks in the music industry. They started their collaboration after having a severe encounter with a fraud, hence; ‘Van Damage Experience’ as the title for their first release. Getting back from their journey through dark alleys and other obscure places, you wouldn’t sent your worst enemy…they have recorded a new style of dance music. Hard to grasp, hard to put a label on… Fuelled by their frustrations of lost promises, persistent in making a statement these guys are in touch with their dark side and decided to translate this into music. Leaning on strong drum and bass lines they have created a sound to get even with this fraud - Kevin should come out of the closet!!! Where most people would hire a lawyer, they are on the verge of a perfidious act without being shilly shally and they CAN percieve the perdition!
They invited a few ON-Mix artists to make a remix of their songs.
