Sammy’s release introduces the spiritual side of Tonimusic family. His style raped us at the beginning of our adventure, when we heard him playing for the first time.
We have a little passion is a six tracks journey into psychedelic house beats. Sammy’s music awakens and explodes in vibrant celebration with instruments & vocals from all over the world. Once you have entered into these magical lands where ancient rhythms and cool grooves entwine into a moving, fresh and fascinating sound-journey, you won’t be able to come back.
We have a little passion is a kind of danceable initiation: a rite of passage that is about letting go of our expectations and naive cliches, and open up to simple reality.
Tonimusic is growing up. This 10th release is a gift for all the people that love our music.

Without Simon Carless many of us wouldn’t be here. He’s been managing Monotonik since 1996, which seems far far away within the netaudio scene. He’s also been moderating the archive.org netlabel community, granting us permission to host our files there, something like being our ‘godfather’. ;)
Some words from Simon: ‘To be honest, I think my netlabel experience has run into a little arrested development - not that there’s not insane amounts of good music out there, but a lot of my netlabel points of reference seem to have peaked somewhere around 2004-2005, in terms of fellow netlabels doing the electronic headphone listening thing. So, from my sadly limited field of influence, here’s a sorta ‘Monotonik greatest idm hits vs. some classics from other labels I admire’, partly cribbed from a ‘best of 2004′ pick I did a while back (!). It’s all totally serene, and should make you happy.’
Monotonik’s netlabel head chooses his personal cherries between 2000-04. Awesome headphone IDM. Hats off.

Break-beat… Nu-jazz… this is only a segment of what’s waiting for you if you download this last piece of work done by our newly signed artist Dyspeptic called “Breaking News” EP. This is a 2 track EP which will not break the sound barrier but is certainly suitable to be a contestant for a 2008’s spring theme throne. Up & down shifting trough each track. Changing the groove for several times during only few minutes for how long a track lasts – this work truly is worth of anyone’s attention. Melodies that are ready to wake you up as well as put you back to sleep, groove which can both – throw you around on the dancefloor with some sexy break-moves & make you want to sit down and just chill out on a sunny afternoon. The choice of what to do is yours.. Diggarama is a messenger bringing the word about Daniel Artner a.k.a. Dyspeptic who has some “Breaking News”!
The Tramp - mellow and calm, deep and smooth… Melodies from heaven bring joy to the listener with shaking beats. You’ll fall in love listening to his one. Mark our words. Deep sound. So deep that you can’t see the end.
Jammer - smart track for wise people… crossover of styles (seems to us heavily Propellerheads influenced, which is a good thing by all means), we kid you not. Oldschool synth playing the melody turns out to be… Well, you’ll just have to listen. You’ll be surprised us we were when we listened to this track for the first time. Then we listened to it again… and again… and again… Bless us!
Como Siempre it´s Lucas Bargen, 23 years old. From buenos aires, argentina, the city he calls the monster and it´s always trying to escape from and go back to. Como siempre´s songs are a big, a huge catharsis, that´s his way to survive.
His first album is The Shining On Our Names 16 songs written in the past two years, in different places, with different instruments, with different sounds, with different moods and subjects, the same as the lyrics.
All witten by himself for with the exception of two Alejandra Pizarnik quotes in the lyric of Rebelion.
He is also the Lead singer and guitar player of the band Calendar.

The idea of this album can be recognized while looking at its cover. Taking hard drugs, such as cocaine, is one of the fastest ways to kill yourself, rapidly. Every single day thousands of people die because of the overdose or the suicide. A man, who tasted poppy tears once, will cry during all his life. Think about it.
A project named Abstracode was founded in Ulyanovsk, Russia by Denis Borisov, also known as Microfluid, and Mikhail Gurov (Braincrasher). Stylistically, their music is a mix of dark downbeat, inspired by ambient and trip-hop moods with sophisticated lo-fi experience.
