Anders Trentemøller made his debut in 1997 together with DJ T.O.M. when they formed the first live-house act in Denmark, Trigbag, and started playing lots of concerts at home and abroad Some of these include three successful gigs at The Roskilde Festival, but also a number of remixes and the release of the Trigbag single ‘Showtime’ which international DJ’s such as Alex Gopher, Laurent Garnier, and Etienne dé Crecy has played.

Trigbag dissolved in 2000, and Trentemøller chose a 2-year break from the House-scene. With a string of legendary remixes on labels both obscure and renowned, together with his famous live appearances performing exquisitely tight live keys together with dj-sets from his mate DJ T.O.M. around the world, the buzz about Anders have kept going in the global dance community.

Now Trentemøller is back with his unique sound. In January 2005 ‘Beta boy’ was released on Out Of Orbit Records, and in Febuary 2005 Steve Bug released the Trentemøller EP ‘Physical Fraction’ on his new label Audiomatique, containing the tracks Physical Fraction, Rykketid and Prana. The EP got massive airplay from various DJ’s all over the world, and went straight to number 6 at the german top 50 single hitlist (Groovemagazine) together with his Run Jeremy’s Window Licker bootleg.

The german music magazine De:Bug reviewed it and gave it full points : “You needn’t search any longer for the smoothest hit of the season” – Bleed. Trentemoller has already managed to develop his own signature sound; the fascination of his music lays within the contrast between large and vast echo chambers and sharp, direct in-your-face sound bits A typical ‘Trentemoller-sound’ that always leaves room for a lot of unexpected turns and twists.
In April he released his first EP on german-based label Poker Flat called ‘Polar Shift’. The title track is a highly elaborate tech-tune and a classy 12″ that will rock advanced dancefloors, but also offers enough ‘brainfood’ for an eclectic listening session. Trentemøller received the award ‘Up Front Release of the Year’ at the Danish DJ Awards in 2004 and in 2005 he won the price as ‘Producer of the year’ .

‘half hour of massive insane trentmøller mix,, the pic above remember me klaus kinski,, another genius’ [dg]
