This re-release of our original EP, showcases some of our favorite songs from that recording session, and includes one new recording plus a remix. It’s a collection of the steps we have taken to bring us to the point we are at today.

new century classics was formed in may 2006 by a group of friends and refugees from various parts of the world, centered around a mutual love of good music and the desire to fill their time and their hands with as many instruments as possible. the band consists of two poles, a polish-american and a polish-canadian hybrid, and an italian who’s decent at banging on things with sticks. always experimenting, new century classics is constantly acquiring new sounds and new instruments (when they can afford it).
if necessary, new century classics’ music can be defined as post-rock. however, genres tend to be limiting and definitions are better left in dictionaries on shelves.
in the second half of 2008, new century classics will release their first LP through the Polish label FDM.
1. A Small Misunderstanding
2. Drift Motion
3. Children of an Uncertain Future
4. Congratulate You, Where?
5. Sandbox Love (Artfruit mix)
Tracks 1-3 come from our self-recorded and self-released debut recording in 2007, New Century Classics EP.
Track 4 is a song recorded for our new record label – FDM. This song was featured on the label compilation album “W Krainie Dzwiekow z Muz” in 2008.
Track 5 is a remix by Artfruit (aka. our violin player Dana) of a song we recorded for our original EP, Sandbox Love.
We hope you enjoy this re-release of our EP! Look out at the end of 2008 for the release of our first full-length album, and in the meantime keep up to date at: www.myspace.com/newcenturyclassics & newcenturyclassics.blogspot.com
