Ok so im deleting my myspace and writing a goodbye bulletin and wanna see if you guys can agree with me on this. Here it is:

“First off, if you’re reading this, you’re part of the reason im deleting my myspace. Myspace is a place where people can intrude in on others people lifes, where people spend the whole day looking at and reading others people profiles/comments to get to know somebody, because in real life they fail at communicating with the world around them and see the computer and this site as a easy way to do so. People on here can act as fake as they want and its funny because you can see it in those that do.

For example, how the fuck can somebody know this person went to this place, when you don’t even know the person at all? How can you pretend to know this person you’re talking about, when in reality you haven’t even talked to this person at all once.

Its funny to me when I catch my own friends doing this, but sad at the same time, because you notice it when it happens and can pretty much guarantee they got this info by reading somebody elses comments, by reading something that wasn’t intended for them in the first place.

People claim that they use myspace as an easy way to communicate to their friends or blah blah blah. Well for a lot of people, its not. Its a way for them to get away from their boring ass life and intrude in on others. Its a place for you to talk to people in a way you can’t when they are right next to you.

Its a way for you to get to know somebody, to see whats going on in peoples lifes, because in real life meeting and communicating with people is your weakness.”
