This winter Mixgalaxy Records prepared for you this very special compilation full of mystery and fairy-tale spirit with snowy scent of cold winter nights spiced with catchy melodies and grand arrangements. Fallen are brothers Andrew and Richard Fryer who come from the south of England. The group was formed in 1999 making spooky neurotic jungle. Over the course of nine releases they have gradually evolved into a more meditative proposition and are now purveyors of a sort of outsider dreampop. Fallen’s last recording, “A rare camouflage” is available on the cookanegg imprint. Andrew is also the man behind Boy swung tunnel whose album “The sun sparks” is on the Format noise label.
CJ Lavoire from Italy will brighten your monday morning. The song ‘First of The Year’ is featured on his self-released album, Jump, from 2007, and he decided to let you download and share it for free. GO!
On his privately released debut album Zoë muj (So tired) D’r Sjaak turned the rather traditionalist world of music from the Dutch province of Limburg into a lo-fi, experimental playground.
And then D’r Sjaak moved on. His virtual single Meatje made waves on regional radio and in the national music press.

Post Human Era is the work of multi-instrumentalist Daniel Finfer. We had missed something but took it back. This is the very first album of Jupiter Makes Me Scream. After a couple back to back original blocSonic releases, I’m back to introduce you to the latest in the blocSonic netBloc series. This batch of netaudio gems is packed with ear candy. I have little doubt that you’ll find at least a couple tracks that you also call gems. Who knows, perhaps you’ll call them all gems, just as I do!
So what exactly is packed in this release? You have operatic vocals with a metal, swing backing. You have straight-up hip-hop. You have electro-pop. Singer-songwriter pop. Smoldering, funky, lounge. Music has always been an important source of inspiration for Nina. She started her singing career in her early twenties and has sung in a number of different bands. Nina is very interested in the arts with particular focus on music, painting and photography.
Nina was born in Stockholm but now resides in Malmö, Sweden.
All songs are written and performed by Nina with the exception of ‘After seven years love’ which was a joint venture together with the late Johan Pettersson and ‘Dying’ on which Johan plays guitar. Unfortunately Johan choose to end his life when only 25 years old, he is still missed to this day.
Breaking Circle was born in the year 2001 in Santa Fe City, Santa Fe, Argentina. Its members met each other in a musical institute and they started the band under the name of Fussion. Due to commercial issues it changed its name on 2009. The line up has stayed unaltered since the begining of the band though its music has developed from a classic punk to a pop punk/melodic hardcore sound.
In 2005 they recorded a demo to show this new style, but the recording of a LP was delayed because of the members own personal problems. Breaking Circle plans to record its first LP next year to show the world its music
If you are doubtful about the universality of trip-hop then you must hear these two album by Indonesian trip-hop band Everybody Loves Irene. This is trip-hop in every film-noir, psychedelic, acid jazz way you can imagine it. A breathy female vocal, string-like keyboard backing, and Billy Strang guitar effects all coming together in a trippy sauna bath sort of way.

The Same Heart’s first murmur occurred when Jason Sposa and Mike Downey began collaborating on this EP’s title track in the summer of 2009. After the song’s completion both dug into their archives and picked previously unreleased songs to fill it out. The outcome is a candid peek into both artists’ somber sides presented in the lower-fi frequencies.
AUDIO GRAVES is a 4 Volume 100-track collection of unreleased songs from my archives. In 2007 I issued a monthly podcast in which the process of digging through stacks of various media began. Some of these songs were included in those podcasts although unmastered and unavailable for download as single tracks.
AUDIO GRAVES is the result of not only many hours of sifting through my archives, but a thorough look at the music I have been making for the past 15 years.
If you are interested in some of the background, click on the “info” link next to each song. I went through song by song and scribbled a few notes. Safe to say, some I recall better than others.
Felipe Zuñiga, the man behind Dr.800XL’s nickname, is a good friend of ours we have shared stage and entertaining nocturnal soirées with. He’s a public health doctor and a psychiatrist, but we are more familiar with his music-making side. It’s fair to say that this is a very fortunate combination, for he knows the power of music to heal wounds and balancing all those small, unstable parts conforming a person.
Everybody, say “CHEESE”! And please do show your cheesiest, biggest and pearly-whitest smiles for Mr. Digi G’Alessio – an honourable gentleman both secure in style and fine in humour.
Much like himself, his debut EP on iD.EOLOGY is all about these two features. And since the Italian producer knows all about the integrative power of hiphop, he winkingly combines beats laid-back enough to make your heads sway and easy listening melodies sweet enough to make your hearts melt. But every time you think you can see through his game, unmask a cliché and nail him down to kitsch, Digi G’Alessio swiftly turns it all around and simply changes the direction. While you’re still busy getting the punchline of the track before, you already find yourself right in the middle of the next one.
So because this EP is not only packed with a good dose of summer-feeling but also with a lot of musical amusement, we’re pretty confident that you won’t be able to wipe those cheeziest, biggest and pearly-whitest smiles off your faces even long after the last note of these tracks has faded away.
Disco is the sixth production from the charismatic Puyo Puyo. This latest release puts forward a rather large selection of electronic pop references, giving prominent parts to voice and groovy melodies. This album is a delicious witches brew of German new-wave, Psychopolka, Turbopop and that little Puyesque je-ne-sais-quoi, iodiosyncratic dissonant melodies, glitch and kitsch licks.
Sharp uptempo beats adventurously push the thirteen tracks into the punctuated fiefdom of the punchy manifesto (P is for Puyo, Eddie the Head), as well as into the incantatory refrains of 80’s keyboards (Up and away, Amour), while passing through acid-disco (Grave Groove), industrial-cinematic (Robot robot, Six kings six pigs) and even dark-wave (I fall, completely berserkte, Spleen)
Each composition creates a sonic universe with a singular narrative, appealing like a love song earworm and often with wake-up-the-dead energy.
